Go Take A Shower!
Today I was driving onto campus and I was following some redneck in a pick-up truck. A thought occurred to me. The only difference between me being who I am and me being a poor redneck is I'm actually going through with my schooling and not giving up because it's so much work. I am sooo close to graduating and getting a job and earning a great amount of money each year that will allow me to live a very comfortable life. That made me feel really good for a bit. Though, it sure isn't going to make the next couple months any easier.
Very shortly after this experience I realized, "hey wait! I bathed this morning. I'm no where near being poor white trash." In conclusion, seeing dirty old pick-up trucks can really boost the ole self esteem.
On a lighter note, I was watching TV last night and it cut to a commercial. From the commercial comes the sound of a little bike bell. (you know... "ching ching.. ching ching") Like a knee jerk reaction without hesitation all of a sudden I started singing "I've got a bike you can ride it if you'd like...." That really made me laugh.
Man I love Pink Floyd!

I've got a degree and I'm still really poor, I shower though, and only smell ..uhh sometimes.

Well, you're a computer dork so of corse you smell sometimes. Though you're on the high end of computer... dork.. ness... so that's why you only smell SOMEtimes.
Also, a degree in something stupid like finger painting doesn't count. Only a degree in something like packaging.... uuh wait a minute, that doesn't sound right....

You have to have a degree that you can actually get a job with. Too many degrees are completely worthless. if you get a degree and cant get a job other than flipping burgers you wasted your time buddy. you might as well pull the gun out now...

Since somebody started the subject, I'll throw in my two pesos on college degrees. When did America decide that somebody goes to college to study what they're interested in to work in a career that will "make you happy"?? Back in the good old days having a house over your head and food to eat was what a job got you. Two hundred years ago do you think everyone in America was a farmer because they thought it would be a fun and exciting career that would make them happy? They don't call it work because it's fun.
Let the rich kids with their own trust funds study art history in college. I'll have my fun AFTER work.

What are you suggesting? Should we reward those who do what they're not supposed to? We could make Jeffrey Dahmer our president! The police could give a thousand dollar reward to anyone who molested a six year-old girl!
