Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

It is such a brilliant title that I decided to steal it myself.

Now if any of you have half a brain still after these crazy last weeks of classes (and you're up to date on this particular blog) you can probably guess what this is about. That's right, I finally bought the soundtrack for Eternal Sunshine. (hmmm... Any relationship to my newly obtained wealth?)

I've got to say, I really like it. Jon Brion has such a beautiful sound when he plays his music, it makes me want to stop whatever I'm doing and just sit there and groove. Although, he has a bad habit of putting in a bunch of music that is like 15-20 seconds long. I mean I know it's a soundtrack, but just when these tracks are developing into something wonderful, they just stop. (hmmm... That kind of reminds me of how some girls act that I either know or have heard about lately.)

The song by Beck on the CD is absolutely tremendous. There are several other tracks from various artists that are just alright, but they don't tickle my fancy. All in all the CD was a good buy for me, though I wouldn't recommend it for just anyone.
